As a northern, working-class actress based in London, I have always been passionate about combining my love for acting and languages through the creative arts. From starting my acting journey in Durham at the age of 11 to pursuing professional training at Rose Bruford College, I have worked with theatre companies both in the north and in London. After graduating, I even had the incredible opportunity to teach English and drama to teenagers on summer camps in Italy. Fluent in French and Italian, thanks to my language studies at Edinburgh University, I aspire to bring together my acting and linguistic talents in meaningful ways.

Primarily, my heart lies in stage work, and I am proud to be a member of The Bread and Roses Theatre company in Clapham. There, I actively participate in their monthly playwriting circle, refining my writing skills to bring my own life experiences to the stage. Additionally, I have garnered experience as a screen and voiceover artist, undertaking various projects in these areas. Outside of acting, I find joy in volunteering as a front of house supporter at Southwark Playhouse and The White Bear, assisting resident visiting theatre companies and welcoming audiences to their performances. Living centrally in London allows me to easily immerse myself in the cultural hubs of this vibrant city.

When I'm not on stage, you can find me cycling around town, discovering hidden gems in the capital, and enjoying coffee and dinner dates with friends. The most exciting challenge on my horizon is embracing motherhood in 2023, which I know will be a remarkable journey.

Beyond acting, I also tutor English, French, and Italian as the Founder of Learning Languages with Lou. Moreover, as the Co-Founder of Libra VA Services, I provide essential support to creative industry professionals, including fellow actors, agents, and casting directors, assisting them with their day-to-day administrative tasks so they can focus on creating brilliant work!
